Comfy Long Johns from Andrew Christian

December 4, 2012 Comments off

I don’t know about you, but to me nothing is more comfortable than a soft, form-fitting pair of Long John’s during the winter. It’s difficult to find good fitting ones because I have the shortest legs in the history of 5’10 men. If you want to baffle a retail clerk just ask for a pair of 33/28 jeans. I don’t think that Long Johns aren’t supposed to scrunch at the knees. Conversely, waistbands are supposed to sit on the sternum either when I pull them up. I’m not even going comment on the crotch area but picture how awful that perverted old man looked in Road Trip.

I haven’t ran across anything from Andrew Christian that I wasn’t thoroughly impressed with, so I pulled the trigger on their Almost Naked Action Boxers. Not sure about these being called boxers, but in the south they are called Long Johns.

Great choice, ungodly comfortable, and fit perfectly! The bamboo fabric feels incredible, sits low-waisted, and it contours flush on the rear. The pouch is roomy for even the most well-endowed. The pants conically mimic a second skin as it rolls down my leg with slight scrunch at the ankles. Did I mention they’re comfy….get a pair, you won’t be disappointed.

Good Devil’s Zoom Carnival Bikini

Known primarily for their novelties, Good Devil’s Zoom Carnival Bikini serves as a reminder that they still make a damn good pair of day-to-day underwear. Brazilian-cut is always a good call on warm days under shorts or work clothes, especially office days. The polyester/spandex ratio keeps you dry and is extremely comfortable. “Won’t these will crawl up my butt?”….No! As long as you get the right size, I’ve not had a problem with it. The front pouch has a little lifting feature too, so if you get called to the whiteboard at the office. Check yourself before you hop-up….

Reputable places I’ve bought Good Devil: Mensuas, Underwear Station, Steveneven

Men’s Low-Rise Bikini Briefs by Flexables

June 9, 2012 Comments off

If you’re on a budget, Flexables Men’s Low-Rise Bikini Briefs will give you your money’s worth. Unless your able to find a deal in the clearance rack, where else can you get decent men’s bikinis for $10? I’m not saying they’re the greatest on the planet, but damn they’re comfortable and completely pass my durability test (see Freak Test).

They’re stretchy with plenty of junk room and the Nylon/Lycra certainly minimizes swamp-ass. The 1″ sides make them adjustable for most body frames too. In my younger adult years, I noticed a dancer wearing a Flexables Women’s thong so I pointed it out to her. She flipped over the tab and starting grinning ear-to-ear. She was so impressed that I knew my underwear that I got free lap dance. Naturally, I bought the wife a few pairs too.

Joe Snyder Bikini Underwear

Joe Snyder Bikini Underwear

Joe Snyder Bikini Underwear

Before I bought these, I was a little hesitant because I thought the pictures made the fabric look like thin, cheaply-made, spandex. WRONG! Joe Snyder’s material is a premium Lycra/Spandex that perfectly contours the body. The seams are interlaced stitched, so nothing runs or snags. I have bought many pairs of bikini underwear over time and these are about as well constructed as I’ve found.

The fit me perfectly, but I think you would need to have at least an average-to-athletic body frame to truly enjoy these. The back coverage is slightly moderate and exposes a tiny bit of lower buttocks. If you were a larger guy, these probably would create a constant wedgie feel (unless you’re looking for that). The 1″ sides make this ideal for short-to-normal height guys, but since they stretch well it’s a non-issue for taller guys but they would sit really low on your torso. The molded frontal pouch provides a little lift and accentuates my average crotch. I think a “well-endowed” guy may have an issue of tucking everything in because the pouch is closer to being flat-fronted than a sack.

My wife was “wowed” by these and thought they were a little on the risqué side. I think the freak factor was a little higher than normal since this bikini underwear is some of the first I purchased years ago.

Designer: Joe Snyder
