Zylas Briefs Rock

December 22, 2012 Comments off

Want a damn good pair of underwear to wear under jeans? Look no further than Zylas men’s textured briefs. Zylas is another one of these innovative, Latin-based manufacturers (Columbian) that does a phenomenal job of designing body wear. Ironically, I had these briefs on and was out Christmas shopping with the wife. We stumbled into the Jockey store and my immediate thought was, “Grandpa’s underwear…, they’ve got a long way to go.”

The Textured Briefs have a “meshy” feel, so they stretch and contour perfectly around my butt and hips, but without the see-through component. I’m not big on prominent waistbands because they tend to leave indentions, but these weren’t digging at all. These briefs are low-waisted too, which is ideal for guys with short legs (myself included). I felt that the leg trim and front pouch fit me just fine, but I could see those areas as being a little tight on thick-thighed guys or the well-endowed. If this is your MO, I’d probably size up then.

As the holidays kick into high-gear now, last-minute shopping is typically at the top of the todo list. Please keep your local business’ in mind and support them as much as possible. Value that premium customer service and don’t let a few extra dollars be the difference in your patronage between them and the “Big Box” stores. Trust me, it’s worth it. Merry Christmas!

Tulio’s Power Pouch Supplex Briefs

Even though Summer really doesn’t end most of the south until mid-October, I find myself wearing jeans now more often than shorts. That being the case, I can’t think of anything that is more comfortable and looks best on me under jeans than a stretchy low-rise brief. I found a good pair of these, Tulio’s Power Power Supplex Briefs at Int’l Jock. Don’t FReakout at the price, they’re worth it and Tulio’s last forever.

As an average-endowed guy with no butt, these definitely enhance my facade with or without clothing. For those who don’t know, Supplex is one of the most durable fabrics and the front pouch is accommodating with seams that push your junk up. In the rear, the middle seam contours perfectly and provides a little lift and the bubble butt look under jeans. Supplex has a wickering feature, so if it’s still hot where you are, no worries.

Buttlifter Squarecut from Gary Madjell

So I’m browsing around Amazon a while back and I come across a line of swimwear and activewear that I didn’t have. Since I have an no ass (according to my wife), I’ll try anything and these do add an inch or so. Naturally, I’m inquisitive by the prices and whip out the card to purchase the Buttlifter Squarecut by Gary Madjell Sport.

Wow, are these tight in the crotch. They may want reevaluate that size chart because I was cutting off circulation to my legs the second I pulled them up and I’m a 33/34 in any brand. Having athletic thighs always makes square cuts a gamble because they tend to ride up the sides, thus becoming a brief. I wouldn’t recommend them for stocky guys….it’ll just look weird. These are designed for skinny dudes.

The construction of them is ok, but you get what you pay for. I did get some other styles to blog about later, but I’ll take my AC’s from now on if I want to project my posterior.
